A logo!

Im so excited (and really nervous!!) about how quickly things are moving here at BRICKS headquarters. It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I present our wonderful logo to the world!

Many thanks to board member Jeremy H. for making the logo, as well as a really great informational handbill that I hope to make available for download in the near future.

Ok- its back to grant writing for me. More soon!!

  1. Is this going to be specifically for young adults who have lost their partners or for those who have lost others too? I am 23 years old and lost my dad 3 months ago to squamous cell carcinoma. Started a blog on it, but I haven't really written since he passed, quite hard. Just wondering if this is something I might look towards for resource and support?

  2. Hi there,

Im sorry to hear about your dad. Thanks for stopping by this blog and for your comment.

BRICKS for Young Adults is a Pittsburgh based organization that hopes to help young adults with cancer connect to community resources to help them with various issues/needs they may face. Personally, as a widow, I hope to bring information and resources for end of life and loss issues.

I hope youll keep checking in, please know that you are welcome!
